Conflict Resolution

In commercial relationships most parties seek to defuse or prevent conflict before disputes escalate to relationship breakdown and/or relationship termination. Common approaches to conflict resolution include prevention, such as socialisation and joint team building, negotiation, escalation and mediation. The term ‘conflict resolution’ is sometimes used interchangeably with the term ‘dispute resolution’. See also Alternative Dispute Resolution.
